Member Referral program

Eligibility

The Member Referral Program is open to companies and individuals who have an active membership at The Malin. The membership must be in good standing with no overdue invoices. Employees of company memberships are eligible to participate in the program.

How it Works: All Malin members must submit their referrals through the provided link. Referrals must be submitted through the link provided to participate in the referral program. When a referred member signs up for a Malin membership, both the new member and referring member may receive a reward. The referred and referring member must both be active members at the time of redemption to receive the reward. Referred members must be new members who are not already in our database as a previous or current member. Members may refer as many members as they’d like and there’s no cap. 

Referral Rewards: All referral reward redemptions are contingent upon both the current and referred member accounts being in good standing with no overdue payments, and cannot be retroactively applied to previous membership dues. Referral rewards vary by the location of the referred member. Please see below for location-specific reward details. 

• New York City-  For every successful Access or Dedicated Desk Membership (Termed or Flex), the referring member will receive a $500 cash gift card payable on the 3rd month of the new member’s term. The referred member will receive their 4th month of membership free.  For every successful Private Office referral, the referring member will receive a $1,000 cash gift card payable upon receipt of the security deposit and first-month dues of the new member. The referred member will receive a free month on a 7- or 13-month term, which will be amortized over the course of the full membership term. 
  
  
• Austin, Nashville, Savannah, and D.C. – For every successful Access or Dedicated Desk Membership (Termed or Flex), the referring member will receive a $400 cash gift card payable on the 3rd month of the new member’s term. The referred member will receive their 4th month of membership free.  For every successful Private Office referral, the referring member will receive an $800 cash gift card payable upon receipt of the security deposit and first-month dues of the new member. The referred member will receive a free month on a 7- or 13-month term, which will be amortized over the course of the full membership term.
  
  
•  All locations: For every successful Founding Access or Desk Membership, the referring member will receive a $150 cash gift card payable on the 3rd month of the new member’s term. The referred member will receive their 4th month of membership free.

Reward Conditions

Members may refer new members outside of their home market, and the referred member’s location-specific reward will apply. 

Referral rewards cannot be combined with other promotional rates offered by The Malin.

• The Ambassador referral program will continue to operate as a separate initiative, and ambassadors are not eligible for the Member Referral program. 
  
  
• If a referred member qualifies for a partner discount, the referring member will receive the Founding Membership referral reward as outlined above. The referred member will receive the applicable membership discount associated with the partnership. Alternatively, the referring member may choose to sign up for a regular membership (instead of a membership with a partnership discount) if they wish to take advantage of the free month promotion offered through the referral program.
  
  
• If a member refers a new member who takes both a Private Office and an Access or Desk membership, they will both receive the Private Office referral reward only.

Referral rewards can only be redeemed once per referred member and do not apply to membership upgrades, renewals, expansions, or product quantity. 

Member referrals are not capped; members may refer multiple new members, provided the referrals are from different entities and must not be invoiced jointly with the referring member.

Referral rewards cannot be applied retroactively and need to be submitted through the link provided above. 

Referral rewards apply to new memberships only and one-off events or meetings do not qualify for the referral program

If a referred member cancels or violates our terms, your referral may be deemed invalid.

Modifications and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Member Referral Program at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated by email and will have immediate effect unless otherwise stated. In the event of the termination of the Member Referral Program, all referrals submitted prior to the termination date will continue to be acknowledged and rewarded in accordance with the terms outlined above.
