Q2 has arrived, and I’m happy to report that astrologically, things are looking up. (Seriously—as your resident astrologer, I love it when I get to be the bearer of good news.)
The first chunk of Q1 dragged on. March, however, was a month full of stops and starts. With Venus retrograde, Mercury retrograde, and eclipse season overlapping, the chaos just kept multiplying. In early Q2, the dust starts to settle, and we finally get a chance to catch our breath.
It tees us up nicely for the two astrological headline moments of this quarter: namely, Saturn temporarily dipping into Aries and Jupiter diving into Cancer. The former, which kicks off on May 24, offers a sneak preview of themes you’ll be dealing with—and challenges that will force you to rise to the occasion—over the next… *checks notes* three years. So it’s one to watch. Also, Saturn is moving into the same area of your life that got a little messy during Venus and Mercury retrograde. Here’s hoping that helps tidy things up and restore order.
Which brings us to Jupiter in Cancer. Beginning on June 9, this year-long transit is without a doubt the best and luckiest astrological signature of 2025. (More trivia for the astro-nerds among us: This will soothe the burn of any lingering stress or hardships from Mars’ extended stay in the same sign during Q1. Insert “girl who is ‘going to be okay’” meme here.) More optimism, more abundance, new opportunities—the possibilities are endless. Will Jupiter solve all your problems overnight? No, but it’s definitely a positive tone shift. Expect a steady uptick in good juju and exciting developments.
How will the astrology of Q2 impact your career prospects and productivity? Keep reading to find out. If you’re familiar with your full birth chart (you can pull up yours here), read for your Rising sign. If not, that’s totally fine. Just stick with your Sun sign.
Good luck this quarter. I’ll circle back in September with your Q3 overview.
Aries & Aries Rising
Key themes: Finances, health, and work-life balance
Aries, you spent the tail end of Q1 getting crystal clear on what you want (and, conversely, what’s not worth your time, energy, or hard-earned cash). Now it’s time to make moves. Taurus season (April 20–May 20) will shine a light on your talents, resources, and how you earn a living. Focus on projects that excite or inspire you. And if you don’t have the luxury of being able to choose what you work on? Invest in your passions or hobbies off the clock.
During Gemini season (May 21–June 20), you’ll have excellent luck in the communication department. If you’ve got a writing project to dive into, a cold-email you’ve been sitting on, or a big announcement to make, aim for the New Moon on May 26, which looks particularly auspicious, or May 30, when Mercury and the Sun link up.
In less fun news: Saturn dips into your sign around the same time. That, coupled with Mars cranking up the heat in your health and labor sector in June, may slow your roll a bit. Best case scenario, you’ll start to take self-care as seriously as you take your career ambitions. Worst case scenario? You’ll get a wake-up call about your health, work-life balance, or overall life direction. Regardless, you’ve got your work cut out for you. Slow down, listen to your body, and if you need support, lean on your friends and family.
Taurus & Taurus Rising
Key themes: Resources, mental health, and self-confidence
You’re entering Q2 in a bit of a lull, Taurus—spending time alone, focusing on self-care, maybe even questioning whether a friendship or an organization you’re affiliated with is actually a good fit for you. Moving forward, expect less self-doubt and more certainty about your wants, needs, and who’s in your corner for the long-haul.
Gemini season (May 21–June 20) will highlight your resources and livelihood. The New Moon on May 26 is a great one to work with, especially if you’re looking to call in more money and abundance (aren’t we all?). Meanwhile, Mercury’s conjunction with the Sun on May 30 could bring an “a-ha” moment about how you support yourself. Maybe it’s time to raise your rates or take on a side hustle. Maybe this has nothing to do with money and everything to do with your self-worth—think: confronting an insecurity or scarcity mindset that’s holding you back.
Come June, you’ll feel more confident and may even land a new writing or content-creation gig… which, in turn, could spark some nerves. If an exciting opportunity or connection falls in your lap, it’s because you earned it. Own it. And if you overestimate your bandwidth and need to move a deadline or take some time off to give your brain a rest? That’s okay, too.
Gemini & Gemini Rising
Key themes: Professional priorities, identity shifts, and financial opportunities
Career-wise, you’re entering Q2 with some big questions in mind, Gemini—about how you show up professionally, who’s got your back, and whether the goals you’ve been working toward are even something you want anymore. In mid-April, the fog lifts. Expect more clarity on your values, priorities, and where you’re headed next professionally.
It’s all building up to Gemini season (May 21–June 20), a.k.a. your annual turn in the cosmic spotlight. Communication is already somewhere you shine, but when Mercury and the Sun link up in your sign on May 30? You’ll be on your A-game. Shoot your shot. Announce something new and exciting. You never know who’s paying attention. And if you have any enlightening conversations or powerful realizations about yourself? Jot those down too.
Around the same time, Saturn exits your career sector, which will ease up any work-related pressure or intensity you’ve been dealing with over the past two years. Then, in June, Jupiter switches signs. This kicks off a particularly fruitful twelve months for you—though it won’t make you an overnight success, it will be a noticeable vibe shift. If you’ve been dealing with relationship issues, insecurities, or financial instability, expect better luck and more lucrative opportunities moving forward. Just don’t neglect your friendships if and when you become booked and busy.
Cancer & Cancer Rising
Key themes: Career shifts, community, and self-discovery
Q1 ended on a pretty dramatic note for your career, Cancer. Something shifted—maybe you wrapped up a big project, switched jobs unexpectedly, or had a change of heart about what you want long-term. Keep everything you’ve learned in mind during Taurus season (April 20–May 20). You might be networking or marketing your skills more rigorously than usual. Lead with your values, and you’ll attract the right crowd.
June is when the fun really begins: Jupiter swoops into your sign, kicking off a year-long period of personal growth (and smoothing over any residual stress or tension from earlier this year). The vibe? Glow-up season, complete with an influx of optimism and self-confidence. If you’ve been thinking about trying something new, applying for a different gig, or investing in yourself by taking a course, now’s the time. Plant those seeds around the New Moon on June 25—it’s a juicy one, especially for you.
Just keep an eye out for challenges in your professional life or relationships, which could put your faith in yourself to the test. Once Saturn dips into your career sector in late May, you might have to put in more effort to secure work (even from longtime clients), uphold your boundaries, or keep your impostor syndrome in check. These will be recurring themes for you over the next three years, so pay attention. But if an intimidatingly big project or work opportunity comes your way? Know that you’ve got the discipline to knock it out of the park.
Leo & Leo Rising
Key themes: Professional achievements, networking, and self-care
Last quarter’s astrology put you through the ringer, Leo (emotionally, spiritually, maybe even physically). Now, you’re coming out of hibernation and stepping into the spotlight. During Taurus season (April 20–May 20), all eyes will be on you and your career achievements. Whether you’re leading a project, gunning for a promotion, or gearing up to release something big, expect to receive some recognition.
Your social calendar will be stacked for the first part of Gemini season (May 21–June 20). Circle May 30 on your calendar—with Mercury and the Sun connecting, it’s the perfect day to announce a project or do some outreach on social media. At minimum, stay open to new ideas. Maybe you’ll have a lightbulb moment about your networking or marketing strategy.
Work-wise, Saturn changing signs in late May could actually be a welcome shift for you—if you’ve been dealing with an expensive or emotionally taxing situation, like a collaborator who’s not pulling their weight or a client who won’t pay up, expect some relief. However, when June rolls around, you’ll probably feel pulled to slow down. Consider taking some time off to rest and recharge, particularly if you’re still dealing with any lingering symptoms of stress or burnout from Q1.
Virgo & Virgo Rising
Key themes: Collaborations, professional shifts, and inner work
How did the end of Q1 treat you, Virgo? Between a lunar eclipse in your sign and two inner planets retrograde simultaneously, I’m willing to bet you’re feeling pretty exhausted, on a personal level and with the people closest to you. As Q2 progresses, you’ll have more gas in your tank and a clearer picture of what you want and need from your relationships.
Your career and any leadership roles you occupy will come into focus during Gemini season (May 21–June 20). Maybe you’ll receive recognition for your leadership or a project you’ve been working on behind the scenes. If you’ve been considering a professional pivot or rebrand, circle May 30 in your calendar—you might have an “a-ha” moment about how to proceed. And if you’ve got anything new and shiny to unveil? Target that day or May 26, which boasts a particularly fortuitous New Moon.
The latter half of the quarter brings us two big shifts. First, Saturn changes signs, and then Jupiter follows suit. What does that mean for you? Networking and navigating relationships will feel more intuitive and take less effort on your part. However, you could be in for a reality check about your mental health, debts, or how reliant you’ve become on someone else—like a business partner or SO—for structure and support. You’re getting a preview of issues that will come up again over the next three years (and the internal work you’ll have to put in to address them), so take notes.

Libra & Libra Rising
Key themes: Relationships, writing or publishing projects, and career growth
Exciting career developments are coming your way in Q2, Libra. If you’ve been feeling unusually drained or mentally preoccupied with relationship stuff lately, the intensity will lighten up in April. You’ll have a better idea of who’s aligned with you, what you need from any partners or collaborators in your life, and which projects are worth pursuing.
Gemini season (May 21–June 20) will highlight any academic, writing, or publishing projects on your radar. If you’re aiming to announce or release something, May 30 is a great day to target. Then, in early June, Jupiter dives into your career sector, paving the way for growth and new opportunities. Whether you’re striving for a job change, a promotion, or a career pivot, you’ll notice more ease and traction from that point on. It won’t change your situation overnight (well… probably not), but your luck is trending up. Promise.
Keep up the good work, but keep an eye on your committed and contractual relationships, which could be tested in the latter half of Q2. If there’s anything you’ve been avoiding—like setting a boundary to preserve your work-life balance, or deciding whether or not you want to continue working with someone—you might be forced to confront it. Alternatively, maybe you’ll get more serious about solidifying a business partnership or dating someone who you can actually see a future with.
Scorpio & Scorpio Rising
Key themes: Health, productivity, and work-life balance
Hope you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work, Scorpio, because you’ve got an action-packed quarter ahead of you. Taurus season (April 20–May 20) will shine a light on your close relationships at work and in your personal life. It’s a prime window for collaborations or client-facing work. And with Mars making up for lost time and blazing through your career sector? Prepare to be booked and busy, for better or worse.
Which brings me to the not-so-fun news: Later in May, Saturn will enter your health and labor sector and pump the brakes. If you’ve been in denial about your health habits, your work ethic, or a job that’s simply not a good fit for you long-term, you might be in for a reality check. On the bright side, you won’t struggle as much with discipline or structure at work, and you’ll feel more empowered to turn gigs down when you’re at capacity.
This is your first look at a new three-year cycle in your life, so take any wake-up calls seriously. If it comes up now, it’s probably not going away. And if your anxiety spikes, or your stress levels start to get out of control? Prioritize rest and self-care, and hold out for Cancer season (June 21–July 22). After that, things won’t feel quite so intense.
Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising
Key themes: Relationships, investment opportunities, and creative labor
This quarter opens on the heels of some big shifts for you, Sag—the tail end of Q1 either catalyzed a shake-up at work, drama at home, or a change of heart about something you thought you wanted. Taurus season (April 20–May 20) will slow things down a bit, allowing you to find your footing again. You’ll be locked in on your day-to-day responsibilities at work and beyond.
Come Gemini season (May 21–June 20), your attention will shift to your committed relationships (romantic, platonic, and professional). Try to be nimble and open-minded whether you’re planning a date, pitching an idea to one of your clients, or spitballing in a creative brainstorm with your business partner. If you’ve been on the fence about a specific partnership, Mercury’s exact conjunction with the Sun on May 30 may offer clarity.
June could see some positive developments in your professional collaborations or search for outside investment on a project—shout-out to Jupiter, which will switch signs and boost your luck. And later that month, Mars will up the ante in your career sector. Your creative skills will be in high demand during this window, which could be a really exciting change of pace. Just don’t skimp out on downtime or self-care. Burning yourself out is never worth it.
Capricorn & Capricorn Rising
Key themes: Private life, relationships, and opportunities for collaboration
If writing or communication has felt like the bane of your existence lately, hold out just a little bit longer, Capricorn. By mid-April, you’ll notice fewer mix-ups, miscommunications, and mental blocks (finally).
During Taurus season (April 20–May 20), your creative juices will really start flowing. And once Gemini season (May 21–June 20) enters the chat? You’ll be ready to clock in and lock in… with one big caveat. In late May, Saturn dips into your home and family sector, which could introduce some challenges in your personal life. This might bleed into your work life or shake your normally rock-solid self-confidence—or it might land like a cosmic kick-in-the-butt to actually set boundaries with your relatives. Either way, you’ve got some work to do.
In better news: The following month, Jupiter enters your partnership sector and eases things up in your close relationships (inside and outside of work). This was tough terrain for you in Q1, so you’ll probably notice and appreciate the tone shift. You might connect with a prospective client, professional collaborator, or writing partner, or maybe you’ll start dating someone who you can actually see yourself building a life with. Enjoy it, and keep putting your best foot forward.
Aquarius & Aquarius Rising
Key themes: Productivity, passion projects, and work opportunities
Your productivity is about to shoot through the roof, Aquarius. Q2 opens at the tail end of retrograde season, which prompted you to reevaluate your financial habits and priorities (and probably made communication a little, ahem… sloppy). By the time Gemini season (May 21–June 20) rolls around, your brain will be firing on all cylinders again, and you’ll be eager to get creative. Consider updating your portfolio or focusing on a passion project.
The same month, Saturn changes signs. If you struggle to meet deadlines, make time for your close friends and family, or establish routines that actually stick: this might push you to get your act together. Luckily, you’ll have more focus and discipline on your side.
Also, come June, Jupiter will ease things up in your health and labor sector. From that point on, you’ll have better luck tapping into your network, securing lucrative gigs, and managing your time wisely. Hustle hard—you’re in a prime position to get some serious work done—but not at the expense of your relationships or personal boundaries.
Pisces & Pisces Rising
Key themes: Finances, resources, and hobbies or passion projects
It’s time to get creative, Pisces. You spent the last chunk of Q1 reflecting on your values, priorities, and how you support yourself. As this quarter progresses, you’ll feel more confident and capable—not just at work, but in your everyday life too.
Gemini season (May 21–June 20) will pull focus on your home and family life… which means you’ll probably be more preoccupied with personal stuff and less inclined to hustle. Plus, we’ve got Saturn changing signs in late May, which could leave you feeling a little strapped or under-resourced. If money is extra tight, or your bandwidth feels nonexistent, make a mental note. Maybe that’s your sign to be more diligent about budgeting, managing your time, or choosing projects wisely—if so, you’re well-positioned to make lasting changes.
Meanwhile, Jupiter switching signs in June will boost your optimism, creativity, and desire to have fun, which could be a nice counterweight to any challenges that pop up. Cancer season (June 21–July 22) is the perfect window to focus on a passion project or creative hobby that fulfills you, even if it has nothing to do with work; ditto for the New Moon on June 25. Just be wary of blowing your paycheck on things that spark joy but aren’t actually in your budget.
